Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 May 2017 will be two special days a Brescia thanks to the initiatives promoted by Coldiretti local together with the UNA Onlus Foundation. The aim of the event is to rediscover traditional tastes and flavors, while at the same time enhancing local excellence. It is talking about "With taste in the Castle", an event that will involve citizens with tastings, playful and musical moments and the participation of prominent figures.
It is also the ideal conclusion of the project by Coldiretti from Brescia, entitled "A healthy food for every child", which involved 4500 between children and teenagers. The fact that ONE (Man Nature Environment) is present in these two days is significant: in fact, one is trying to enhance game meat, one of the food and wine excellences of this part of Lombardy, as well as an Italian heritage that is far too underestimated.
The Foundation will open the event with a conference attended by the president of the scientific committee, Maurice Zipponi: we will speak, in particular, of organoleptic qualities game and its economic and employment potential. Then there will be the tasting "Wild and Good" with chef Roberto Abbadati, who will present game based recipes. Finally, the non-profit organization will present the comic and educational show “In search of the forest” to involve the little ones.
