Paul Sparvoli, president ofNational Free Hunting Association, recalled how the Piedmontese hunting activity is experiencing an alarming moment: consequently we must run for cover returning to the square, without hesitation and division. ANLC is one of the associations that have promoted the great event that will take place in Turin on June 8th and which will register the participation of thousands of hunters, without distinction.
The event will be dedicated to civilization and peaceful protest, without forgetting pride, a unique opportunity to raise awareness in society about role of hunting and hunters. The name of the event, then, was not chosen by chance: "The hunt has awakened", a clear reference to our national anthem. DDL 182 risks further compromising the situation of the Piedmontese hunting, in particular the ban on carrying out the activity on Sundays and the total closure to the typical alpine fauna, a real pride for mountain hunters.
As pointed out by Sparvoli, the hunting world is not there and asks to be treated on an equal footing with every citizen who pays taxes and has no pending justice. On June 8, the distinctions, the rivalries, the wickedness and the jealousies must not exist in any way, but only the united hunting.
