Renewal of the top management
Last May 10th, at the Congress Centre of the Grand Hotel Assisi (Assisi – Perugia), the 63rd National Assembly of the National Free Hunting Association. The most important association meeting was also the democratic moment of the four-year period par excellence, as it coincided with the renewal of the top management: the National President, the Executive Committee, the Board of Auditors, and the Probi Viri. Among the more than one hundred delegates from all the Italian regions, the delegates entitled to vote by Statute, unanimously confirmed Paolo Sparvoli as National President and the list of the associated Executive Committee.
The composition
Within the new Executive Committee, in the near future, the deputy vice president, another vice president, the members of the Presidency Office and the national delegates for Dog Breeding, Shooting and Hunting Surveillance will be appointed.
The new management team is therefore composed as follows:

At the end of this first vote, the election of the Board of Auditors and the Board of Probi Viri took place.

During the Assembly, President Paolo Sparvoli awarded certificates of merit to some historic leaders of Libera Caccia who have distinguished themselves for their decades-long commitment to hunting and Italian hunters. The following were awarded certificates of merit: Mario Alemanno, Carlo Cristini, Giovanni Gallinaro, Antonino Montalbano, Antonino Romano, Marco Salierno, Bruno Santori.
18th uninterrupted year
At the end of this intense day, President Paolo Sparvoli, understandably moved, wanted to thank all the congressmen, the collaborators, the girls of the central office and declared: "I begin this 18th uninterrupted year of mine at the helm of Libera Caccia and in thanking you for the unanimous demonstration of esteem received, I confirm that the next four years will see me and will see us all engaged in facing increasingly serious challenges that originate above all in the lack of knowledge on the part of public opinion, some politicians and some media, of the fundamental role that modern hunting is able to play with regard to environmental protection and the management of some species of wild fauna now present in increasingly unmanageable quantities". "We have challenging years ahead of us - he then concluded - but I am sure that with the passion and commitment of all of us we will be able to defend the social and environmental values of this thousand-year-old passion of ours".
