The national secretary of the Free National Association Hunting, Massimo Ceccarelli, replies to CONFAVI after the recent affirmations of the hunting association, “We are beautiful, bullies and we dance well”.
"This seems, in a nutshell, - says Ceccarelli - the sense of the affirmations of Confavi, a 'territorial' Venetian association that has been and probably always will be, the electoral bandwagon of Sergio Berlato, Veneto regional councilor and former elected European parliamentarian, thanks hunting, in the Vicenza boarding school ".
Ceccarelli notes "the propaganda level" of Confavi, "demonstrated by the fact that it is honored not to participate in national meetings", also because "it is not included among the associations recognized by Law 157". For the secretary, therefore, it is not "a boast but a weakness".
“Confavi is a completely useless association - he adds -, at least at the national level, as it lacks the representation to defend the rights of hunters. The 'shots' of the group of exiles from the hunting associations have only the intent of scrapping together a few more cards among the Viterbo and Orvieto hunters ”.
Then Ceccarelli specifies that "we must fight every day against the environmentalist and political world" and asks: "Who knows if Confavi is aware that according to the Natura 2000 directives of January, hare hunting was closed in the territory of Ischia di Castro and Farnese and that this decree was blocked only thanks to the action of the Libera Caccia and the mayors of the two municipalities ”.
The ANLC secretary continues, “Who knows if Confavi knows that Free hunting has spent tens of thousands of euros to appeal to the State for the snatching of 10 days of hunting from some species in January; if Confavi knows that a proposal had been presented to give the binding opinion to Ispra and open the hunt on 1 October and close it on 31 December and that the hunting associations pay thousands of euros to wildlife technicians to present scientific observations capable of oppose the opinions of Ispra on the pre-nuptial migration of thrushes and woodcocks ”.
Ceccarelli also stresses that "the majority of hunters no longer believe in fairy tales", which is why "all the hunters registered with Confavi in the province, except Montefiascone, have registered with the Free Hunt".
Finally, the national secretary of ANLC thanks “the hunters who trusted us by registering a 30% increase in members before the general opening. This is also thanks to the hunters of Tuscia, an association of real hunters (not armchairs) who shared the Free hunting project ”.
