“Considering that from next week the Friuli Venezia Giulia it will probably return to the orange zone, I ask the Regional Council to verify the feasibility of an ordinance or a circular to allow hunting activities in the belonging hunting reserve, allowing travel outside the municipality of residence. Numerous Regions have already issued similar exceptions, on the occasion of the limitations imposed in recent weeks ”. The regional councilor reports it Mara Piccin (Forza Italy).
"As some Regions have done, for example Piedmont and Calabria, in their respective ordinances or circulars of the past few weeks - continues Piccin - the hunting activity must be framed among the reasons of necessity which involve moving, as it is aimed at limiting damage to crops, mitigating the potential danger to public safety and to achieve wildlife balance. Similar assumptions have also led Lombardy, Veneto, Liguria and Umbria to grant exceptions to the mobility restrictions dictated by the Coronavirus emergency ".
"In the ordinance or circular which I hope to be issued, it should be specified that the move outside the municipality to reach the scope of belonging hunting reserve will be granted only within the regional borders, while the hunting activity must be exercised in compliance with social distancing and the use of personal protective equipment. Hunting, the only effective means of controlling wildlife, is an activity that can be carried out in full compliance with anti-contagion measures ".
