UNA Foundation - Man, Nature, Environment will once again be among the protagonists of FUTURE Economy X the Environment, the exhibition that has the ambition to make Brescia the new capital of the sustainable economy. The protagonists of the event are those innovators of the hunting, environmental and industrial world that bring values and practices particularly linked to sustainability. The edition of FUTURE Economy X the Environment of this year will be held in Brescia from 4th to 6th November, in presence, in compliance with the anti Covid provisions, and with the possibility of connecting in live streaming. In the presence of politicians, representatives of institutions, organizations and associations, entrepreneurs, academics, journalists, influencers, etc. related issues will be discussed the environment and sustainability considering diversified and transversally involved areas and sectors (eg metallurgical industry, sustainable mobility, sustainable finance, European funds for sustainable agriculture, protection of the territory, communication, green building, training of the new generations, etc.).
FUTURA Economy X the Environment offers a common platform to more diverse experiences of sustainable economy in our country, thus representing an ideal landing point for the UNA Foundation, which has found solid common ground with AIB, Coldiretti, the Chamber of Commerce and Pro Brixia in the idea of creating an integrated path of events that mobilize the best energies of the sectors they represent on sustainable economy issues, involving the world of schools, universities and institutions. It will be possible to follow the event both in presence and in live streaming on the Futura Facebook page.
Registration is mandatory for each event, you can register on the site https://www.futura-brescia.it/. Fondazione UNA, this year, during the works will present, with the participation of the President of the Scientific Committee Renata Briano and the Director of the Scientific Committee Antonella Labate, the new edition of the Digital Race: a challenge for sustainability, whose main objective is to involve university students in the development of innovative design ideas for the protection and conservation of natural heritage and biodiversity and to favor the convergence of interests for a balanced sustainability of the environment. The initiative is reserved for students of master's degree courses in disciplines relating to the protection of natural heritage and biodiversity enrolled in universities in Brescia, Milan, Parma, Tuscia, Genoa and Urbino. The groups participating on November 4, 2021 will have the opportunity to present the idea of the project they intend to submit in the event scheduled during the edition of Futura Digital.
By April 30, 2022, participants must produce a video with a maximum duration of 5 minutes; to follow, Fondazione UNA and its Partners will decide the two winners, one chosen by the jury and another by social approval. UNA Foundation undertakes to deliver to the first ten participating groups to the initiative that will have nominated a valid project a contribution for the costs of making the video, possibly incurred, equal to € 200. The group author of the winning project decreed by the Jury will be awarded a prize of € 2000, while the team author of the project selected via the web, a prize of € 500 will be awarded. The presentation of the projects and the announcement of the winners will take place on the occasion of FUTURA - Economia X l'Ambiente, on 27/28/29 May 2022 at Brixia Forum, within an ad hoc event.
UNA's participation in Futura is not limited to the digital race; the President of the Scientific Committee Renata Briano will participate on November 5th at the round table "Protection of the territory: recovery of hill and mountain villages and rural areas", through which it will bring the experience and commitment of the UNA Foundation for the development of employment and the local economy of villages and rural realities. At the round table, moderated by Michele Pezzagno - Professor of technique and urban planning - will also intervene Mariastella Gelmini - Minister for regional affairs and autonomies, Pietro Foroni - Regional Councilor for the Lombardy Region and Stefano Masini - Coordinator of the Environment and Territory Coldiretti Area. UNA Foundation through in particular the "Wild and Good" project aims to create a completely traceable game meat chain that also allows the creation of an economic chain, with positive employment effects in particular in villages and small rural realities.
