The menu
Almost a hundred people, including hunters, hunters and their companions, met on Sunday 25 May at the Carpadasco estate (Parma) for a game-based lunch, the proceeds of which were donated to the association The Angels, which has been working for years to help the oncology department of the Parma hospital. The initiative was organized by the Coordinamento Cacciatrici Federcaccia of Parma and the FIdC of Parma. The menu opened with a trio of appetizers based on roe deer and hare, followed by a risotto with duck and pappardelle with hare ragù. For the second course, venison roast beef and wild boar goulash with polenta. To close, homemade cakes.
A super raffle
All washed down with wines from Vigneti Calzetti and Ca' Nova, among the event's sponsors. After greetings to the participants from the president of the FIdC of Parma, Oscar Frattini, from the head of Coordination, Isabella Villa, and from the past president of the national FIdC, Gian Luca Dall'Olio, and thanks from the head of the Association The Angels, a super raffle entertained the participants until late at night.
A perfect combination
Once again, game-based cuisine and solidarity, a combination that the FIdC hunters' coordination has been promoting for some time and that, as far as game cuisine is concerned, has become a central theme of the Federcacciatrici's activity, especially after the success of the conference held at EOS SHOW. Promoting the use of hunted food in cooking and highlighting its health benefits, also for the benefit, and above all, of those who are not hunters, is an integral part of that "ethical hunting" that has always been one of the objectives of the Coordination.
