GAME FAIR ITALIA: A new location for the only example of Italian country festival, scheduled from 30 May to 1 June 2015 in the Fiera del Madonnino area.
For the first time Game Fair Italia will take place in Grosseto. The only example of an Italian country festival, which celebrates its 2015th edition in 25, will be hosted from 30 May to 1 June in the area of the Madonnino Fair in Braccagni, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma. The event, dedicated to hunting, sport shooting, dog lovers and horses, is organized by the company GFI Srl, established in 2013 owned by Fiera di Vicenza SpA and CNCN (National Hunting and Nature Committee) with the aim of promoting a new culture of outdoor activities. The 2015 edition will see the collaboration of Grossetofiere SpA A choice, that of the organizers, fell on a well-equipped exhibition area of 30 hectares, in a strategic province of central Italy, which finds the main cities of Tuscany within a 180 km radius , Umbria and Lazio; but also to underline the continuity with the splendid Maremma scenery, the territory in which the event developed in our country. Born in England in 1950 and introduced in Italy in 1991 with the first editions on Lake Bracciano at Tenuta Odescalchi, from 2007 to 2014 Game Fair took place in Tarquinia (VT), in the locality of Spinicci.
In the years Game Fair it has become a point of reference for companies in the country sector, in the activity and in outdoor sports disciplines. The 2014 edition saw the participation of 163 exhibitors, an increase of 23% compared to 2013. The number of visitors is also growing strongly, + 32%, with around 24.600 first admissions, confirming the excellent management of the company GFI Srl and its commitment to promoting a new meaning of country-style with positive feedback.

During the three days of the event, the 25th edition of Game Fair will offer over 250 appointments, events and interactive shows to fans of the disciplines concerned, families and lovers of outdoor life. The exhibition center will be divided into four sections: the Exhibition Area, which will bring together the top brands and the best companies in the sub-areas Case Armiere, Cinofilia, Cavalli, Shopping and Gusto); the Exhibition Area, the Archery Area and the Show Area. The "doing" and "experimenting" are the pluses that enrich the participation of visitors to Game Fair. Also for the 2015 edition the main activity will be shooting, in its traditional guise and in various other declinations: clay pigeon shooting in the 12 dedicated lines, shooting with western replica and muzzle loading, ball shooting and archery, shooting with slingshot and compressed air, but also virtual shooting with the laser shot. Among the testimonials present, the international champion Lamera will perform at the Benelli area dedicated to skeet shooting.
There are many and varied spaces reserved for shows and demonstrations with dogs, horses and falconers. The dog area includes, among others, exhibitions of dogs diving into the pool (Splash Dog), who help the shepherds in guiding the sheep (Sheep Dog) and, new for 2015, exhibitions of dogs leading groups of Geese. Toulouse. There is also space for dog shows and parades, demonstrations for the recovery of injured animals, with Retrivers and Spaniels, cruising demonstrations for dachshunds and swamp hunting for English Springers and Retrievers. There are also dog training courses for children. The horse riding sector includes various initiatives, including shows with specimens of Spanish horses and with the Butteri della Maremma, shows with carriages and performances by Gigaritmik, the only Italian example of combining rhythmic gymnastics and horse riding. Even children will be able to approach horse riding thanks to the traditional 'Baptism of the Saddle' at the pony rod. The 2015 edition will also host the group of “I Falconieri del Re”, with an exciting show dedicated to birds of prey.
There are several areas dedicated to country style, with clothing, furniture and home accessories stands. Another characteristic space is food and wine, in which peasant producers will offer particular tastings and their quality products that are difficult to find on the market. The “Tractors di Maremma” association will also be present at Game Fair, which will take care of an exhibition of vintage tractors and agricultural machinery of great value.
