GAME FAIR: Game Fair Italia is back, the only example of Italian Country Festival, now in its 24th edition and scheduled from May 31 to June 2 in Tarquinia (VT).
For the second consecutive year, the Fair will be managed by the company GFI Srl, set up by Fiera di Vicenza SpA and CNCN with the aim of growing the Event and promoting the culture of outdoor activities in Italy. Game Fair Italy will host over 100 events and will give the opportunity to both passionate of the disciplines concerned both a families and outdoor enthusiasts to spend three days in the enchanting scenery of the Maremma. Immersed in the greenery of Tarquinia, a place rich in history and charm, operators and visitors can explore the 80 hectares of the magnificent Spinicci estate, exceptionally open to the public on the occasion of the Exhibition.
Il program provides numerous activities dedicated to one of the traditional sectors of the Fair, that of Hunt and of the Sports shooting, with demonstrations by experts, also open to beginners, in various disciplines such as clay pigeon shooting, archery and sling shooting. To underline the importance and authority of Game Fair Italy, the presence of major Hunting Associations and numerous exhibitors of arms manufacturers, who will also organize demonstrations with hunting dogs. Spectators will also be able to attend the shows of Falconry, an ancient and fascinating discipline, and observe birds of prey in a special space set up inside the pine forest.

This edition will see the growth of the area dedicated to Dog lovers, with the introduction of numerous demonstrations. The exhibits of the sheep dog, agility, rally obedience and disc dog, coursing of greyhounds, demonstrations of pointing dogs (with breeds such as Spaniels, Retrievers and Dachshunds) and truffle dogs with Lagotti Romagnoli will be the protagonists. The event will see the second edition of the 'Game Fair Photo Contest', dedicated to children and their "four-legged companions", and the new dog show'Game fair top dog'aimed at all breeds, which will award the best subject of 2014.
Among the various sports, children can also approach theHorse riding thanks to the now traditional 'Baptism of the Saddle' at the pony rod, while adults will have the opportunity to attend numerous demonstrations and representations of the various equestrian disciplines, including a show of 300 horses of different breeds engaged in various demonstrations, such as fascinating rural traditions of the cowboys, typical Maremma, of carriages and western riding. The equitation section will also be enriched by the second edition of the event "Horses in the wild"And"Horse Bag”, Which again this year will see the presence of numerous exhibitors.
