Over 200 municipal sections
The Assembly of the presidents of the municipal sections of Federcaccia Brescia held last Sunday 14 April at the Forchettone restaurant in San Zeno Naviglio it was a wonderful party. At least 180 participants representing the over 200 municipal sections of our province who also voted for the new Provincial Council made up of 25 people who elected our new Provincial President: Giacomo Lanzini.
Who was present
After the report by the outgoing president Marco Bruni, appreciated by all those present, the budgets were approved and space was then given to the guests. In fact, the national vice-president Dr. was present. Mauro Cavallari, the Regional President lawyer. Lorenzo Bertacchi, the president of the VIII Agriculture and Territory Commission of the Lombardy Region Floriano Massardi, the honorable Francesco Bruzzone and the mayor of San Zeno, landlord and always federhunter, Marco Ferretti. Cavallari illustrated to the municipal presidents, the backbone of our association and through the Assembly, the sovereign body of Federcaccia, the work carried out in the past 5 years, from the rationalization of resources, the increase in allocations for scientific research, the organizational increase and the purchase of the new headquarters in Rome.
Regional Wildlife Plan
The lawyer Bertacchi instead took stock of the Regional Wildlife Plan, the fears for the imminent opinion of Ispra on the draft calendars sent by the Lombardy Region and the thorny issue of the mountain passes, also definitively closed by the Council of State. It was then the turn of Floriano Massardi, present at the meeting with the dual role of president of the Vallio Terme section and institutional representative, who clarified some passages regarding the process of the law on rings, on the database of live recalls and on the forecasts of implementing this delicate issue. Massardi then illustrated other initiatives taken starting from the collection of signatures among fellow regional councilors to urge the ministers Picchetto Frattin and Lollobrigida so that Ispra returns to being a body at the service of the institutions and not of the anti-hunting ideology.
Other interventions
The Honorable Francesco Bruzzone then illustrated the contents of his proposed law to amend 157/92, the Italian law that regulates hunting activity: hunting calendars approved by law lasting 5 years, abolition of hunting forms, validity throughout the national territory of specialist qualifications for example for hunting ungulates and more. Finally, Mayor Ferretti said he was proud that San Zeno Naviglio had been chosen to host the assembly of his association and underlined the importance for the renewal of the management of Federcaccia Brescia. At the end of the work and the counting operations, a lunch was followed in which the presidents participated in the sign of friendship and the desire to be together (source: FIDC Brescia).
