At the end of qualifying, the Sicilian was competing for a place in the sun in the two semifinals Fabio SollamiSilvana Stanco, Matteo D'Ambrosi, Tommaso Pesucci, Luca Paoli, Luca Gerri, Daniele Bertolini and Piergiuseppe Frus, at the top since the first day of competition with 97 targets centered on 100 and best shooter with a score of 172/175. In the first semifinal, the first to go out at the 15 targets was the young champion of the Blue Flames, Matteo D'Ambrosi (12/15), followed, after the next 10 and at the end of a long shoot-off against Luca Paoli (20/25 + 8), by the Sicilian champion Fabio Sollami (20/25 + 7). Also in the second semifinal a play-off was necessary to decree the finalists and, after Tommaso Pesucci (10/15), it was the turn of the very young Luca Gerri (19/25 + 0) to leave the shooting lines in the duel against Piergiuseppe Frus (19 / 25 + 1).
Having reached the decisive act, the very young Piedmontese shooter (10/15) Frus left the final first, followed in the locker room by the Sardinian athlete Paoli (21/25), while in the gold medal match against the Italian national team Silvana Stanco, without no fear, the young Daniele Bertolini, at the golden hit, triumphed with the score of 30 to 26. Even his name will now be engraved in the golden register of the long-lived event, together with that of sacred shooting monsters such as Rodolfo Viganò, Albano Pera and Giovanni Pellielo.

Moving on to the barrage by category, played with formula Shooting Date (target hit by the first barrel = 3 points, target hit by the second barrel = 2 points, wrong target = 0 points), the 4 rifles Beretta 694 up for grabs for the first six classified, without brand restrictions, at the end of the 175 competition targets, were awarded to: Joan Francisco Fontgibell Garcia for the Excellence category; Gianluca Stella for the First Category, Demetrio Pupeschi for the Second and Antonio Sanna for the Third. The 4 Beretta Silver Pigeon I rifles, for those classified between the seventh and twelfth position, were instead: Claudio Armiraglio (Excellence); Diego Puccio (1st Cat.); Luigi Matarazzo (2nd Cat.) And Alberto Gerri (3rd Cat.).
The other prizes, in addition to the aforementioned DT11 Black Edition won by Fabio Sollami as the best shooter, they were won by Silvana Stanco (165/175), the best among the Ladies and, for the Paratrap discipline, by Davide Fedrigucci (142/175) for the cat. PT1 (sitting); by Francesco Mereu (151/175) for the PT2 (athletes with impediments to the lower limbs) and by Guerrino Fazzi (149/175) among the PT3 (athletes with impediments to the upper limbs).
