Preparations for the second are underway Italian FIDASC Championship di hunting archery. The appointment is scheduled for the next one September 18th at the facility of the “Torre Baccelli” hunting farm in Fara in Sabina (in the province of Rieti). All archers who are in possession of a valid FIDASC card can participate: they can be part of the individual category or the team category.
In the latter case, each team will consist of three archers from the same club. The subdivision of the athletes will take place in heats with a maximum of six competitors. The categories will be "Cadets from 10 to 13 years", "Juniors from 14 to 17 years", "Woman" and "Man". The list of allowed bows will also be very important. In fact, historical bows can be used, without any aiming aid or mechanical release; Traditional Longbow; Traditional recurve; Traditional Compound.
The targets will be camouflaged as in nature, with the vital points visible and two distinct categories to refer to: "Great Hunt" (wild boar, fallow deer and others) e "Little Hunt" (pheasant, partridge and hare). In both cases they will be obtained ten points hitting to the heart and five points for the other vital parts. In the hypothesis of a shape that reproduces the banned but hit animal, points will be lost.
