THENational Free Hunting Association wanted to make known its contribution to the success of the second edition of the HIT Show which took place in Vicenza from 13 to 15 February last. The numbers of the event are eloquent: the increase of 16% refers to exhibitors (from 314 to 363 within twelve months) and above all to visitors, passed from 31 thousand units in the 2015 edition to 36 thousand in the last. Libera Caccia was one of the main interpreters of these advances, confirming the growth trend that does not only concern Veneto. In particular, ANLC has now become the second hunting association in terms of total number of registrations.
Furthermore, it is the only body in the sector that has been able to increase its members in the current season, a positive and encouraging result that has been achieved thanks to a careful policy, in the name of coherence, commitment from a scientific and legislative point of view and management rigor of financial resources, as can be read in the official note of the association. Libera Caccia underlined how every year new regional and provincial offices are being born, no less important are the legal and trade union battles for defend the rights and dignity of hunters.
The location at the 2016 HIT Show was defined as “prestigious and highly visible”, with one exhibition space of 100 square meters, attractive and hospitable. Everything was enriched with flags, posters with suggestive images, food for thought on hunting, paintings, sculptures, engravings and cowbells and whistles made by artists and craftsmen. Important appearances at the stand were those of the president Paul Sparvoli, the vice president Data System and the general secretary Massimo Ceccarelli. This same stand was then used to host the awarding of the Italian Shooting Championship and the Provincial Championship for pointing dogs.
A further reminder of Libera Caccia went to all the members who collaborated in the preparation and care of the exhibition space in the Vicenza Fair: as can be read in the association's press release, one cannot fail to refer to their passion and their spirit of sacrifice, well evidenced by the distribution of illustrative material, gadgets and food and wine delicacies. Finally, the role of women in hunting was probably the most highlighted aspect by Libera Caccia: the group of huntresses who registered was well fed and willing to testify to their experience for women, an emphasis rewarded with a nice tribute and a lot of visibility. The goal is to do even better in 2017.
