The story in brief
A little less than a week ago the first-third section of the Regional Administrative Court of Lazio ruled on the possession and revocation of the firearms license In relation to narcotics. The appeal to the TAR was filed by a man who was denied a license to carry a rifle for sporting purposes following the discovery of 1,38 grams of hashish during airport checks before boarding.
Lack of habituation
The revocation came after a suspension of several months because the person involved in the case was deemed unreliable, despite clinical tests having repeatedly confirmed his lack of habitual drug use. The appeal was granted because the revocation order lacked a thorough investigation and reasoning.
Modify quantity
In short, the TAR judges ruled in favor of the man because there were no other investigative elements beyond the single incident: among other things, it was established that the possession of hashish was for personal use, without forgetting that the quantity of narcotic substance in this specific case can be considered modest.
