A hunter from San Martino in Rio, in the province of Reggio Emilia, found his car burned while he was engaged in a hare hunt.
Yesterday morning the man, Werter Baccarini, went with his father and a friend to the countryside of San Martino in Rio to hunt hares; the group of hunters reached the hunting site with two cars, one of which was the victim's Suzuki Vertex, and parked on the land of an acquaintance.
After leaving the cars, the hunters set off in the countryside hunting until they reached the area of San Faustino, a hamlet of Rubiera, after which they split up and Baccarini's father and his friend returned to the place where the cars were parked and then return to pick him up with the latter's car. When the Baccarini returned to his Suzuki car, he was presented with a horrible sight: his car was completely engulfed in flames.
Just Baccarini tells what happened, “It was 9 and my car was intact. At 9.45 it was burning. It must have been someone. But I don't know who. I often stop there when I hunt. Turci gave me permission ”.
The Carabinieri of the local station are investigating the matter, inclined to the arson origin of the fire but the reasons that could have prompted the author to make the gesture are still not clear; moreover, the same victim reported that he had no enemies.
