Hikmicro’s Stellar family of integrated thermal imaging riflescopes has now reached level 3.0. Among the 5 models available and presented at EOS ’25 on the stand of distributor Origin Stb, the Stellar 3.0 SX60L represents the top of the range and a turning point in the world of thermal imaging for hunting, offering exceptional performance, superior image quality and a series of features, including a laser rangefinder. The heart of the Stellar 3.0 SX60L is a latest-generation thermal sensor with a resolution of 1280×1024 pixels @12 μm and an (improved) sensitivity of less than 15 mK. This combination guarantees clear and detailed thermal images, even in low-light conditions or in fog and rain.
60mm lens
In addition, there is a 60 mm, F1.0 lens with a detection range of up to 3.100 meters and a recognition distance of 800. The HD lens guarantees excellent transmission of infrared radiation. Its aperture allows you to capture even the smallest temperature variations. The eye relief is 45 mm, entirely absorbed by the rubber eyecup, which you can rest your eye on. The 1.03-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2560×2560 pixels offers an exceptional viewing experience. The combination of all these features returns clear images, vivid colors and well-defined details, reducing eye fatigue even during prolonged observation sessions. Day or night.

Various functions
The innovative HSIS (Hikmicro Shutterless Image System) technology eliminates the need for periodic calibrations, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted viewing. This technology is based on the dynamic learning of gray backgrounds, constantly optimizing image quality. 5 groups of reticles with 4 colors and 10 types of reticles can be configured and saved in the thermal riflescope.

The laser rangefinder is integrated into the lens and measures the distance to the target up to 1.000 m, with a ballistic calculator that allows you to accurately estimate the bullet drop based on the distance, the type of ammunition and other factors. The device allows you to record videos and take photos and Wi-Fi connectivity allows you to connect the device to a smartphone or tablet, sharing images and videos in real time. An interesting feature is the pre-recording function that, activated when recoil is detected, records the 7 seconds before the shot and the 7 seconds after the shot, to create a 14-second video with audio. The Hikmicro device is powered by two batteries, both rechargeable and one replaceable located in the left side turret, for an autonomy of about 9 hours.

Traditional design
The Stellar 3.0 SX60L has a rather traditional and robust design with a 30 mm tube: it is designed to be easy to use and resistant to the most difficult environmental conditions (protection level Ip67). The shock resistance is up to 1.000 g / 0,4 m / sec. The overall weight is 1.000 grams and the dimensions 453x94x79 mm. The intuitive interface, with all the buttons located in front of the eyepiece, makes the device easy to use. It is supplied with a quick guide, two batteries, USB-C cable, dust cloth, protective bag and charger.

The Hikmicro Stellar 3.0 SX60L is a high-end thermal imaging scope that represents an interesting investment for hunters and operators licensed to control wildlife. It costs around 6.000 euros.
