HIT Show 2015: in a joint note ANPAM and Fiera di Vicenza make some clarifications regarding the event in terms of Hunting, Individual, Protection, Target and Sports "which will take place from 14 to 16 February 2015.
In the joint note of ANPAM and Fiera di Vicenza it can be read, "Following some requests from the world of associations connected to civil society, as well as with reference to the meeting that took place on Wednesday, February 4, during which present the representatives of "OPAL" and "Italian Network for Disarmament", Fiera di Vicenza SpA and ANPAM, consider it useful to clarify some characteristics relating to the Exhibition called "HIT Show - Hunting Individual Protection Target Sports", scheduled, at the Vicenza exhibition center, from 14 to 16 February 2015. This trade fair event represents the natural evolution of the previous events held at Fiera di Vicenza SpA in previous years (“Hunting Show”); this exhibition format does not provide for extensions in terms of product categories in favor of sectors that are not in line with the sporting and civil use of weapons.
We therefore take the opportunity to highlight:
- the absence of any weapon for military use;
- the presence of a Pavilion dedicated to "Individual Protection" (elsewhere not precisely defined "Law Enforcement") in which, however, no type of firearm will be exhibited, while some articles of defense such as bulletproof vests, technical footwear, surveillance systems etc .;
- the presence of a shooting range where only persons with legal qualifications for the handling of weapons can access and only after registration, by showing a copy of a valid identity document in order to carry out the related police checks;
- children under 18 will not have access to the shooting range while they will be able to participate in soft-air shooting activities or with compressed air guns, but always under the supervision of instructors and technicians prepared to carry out the activity safely and in an educational context;
- during the course of the Exhibition, no sale of weapons or essential parts of weapons is envisaged or permitted. The area dedicated to shopping exclusively includes the sale of objects and clothing related to hunting, outdoor and sport shooting.
On the basis of these clarifications and the communication made with the utmost transparency by Fiera di Vicenza SpA and by the main partner ANPAM (National Association of Sporting and Civil Weapons and Ammunition Manufacturers), the HIT Show exhibition therefore presents itself as an event in which the showcase of one of the excellences of Made in Italy, that is the manufacturing production linked to hunting and sport shooting activities, is treated in a safe and responsible way in the common interest.
Certain that the clarifications just reiterated, in part already widely traceable in the official launch communication of the Event, can also be welcomed towards the most attentive sensitivities to these issues, we invite all interested parties to visit HIT Show - Hunting Individual Protection Target Sports, to live an experience of great impact lived in maximum safety.
