HIT SHOWS hits the mark e wins the favor of exhibitors, buyers and enthusiasts. During the three days of the event, which closed today, over 31mila visitors crowded the Vicentino Exhibition Center for the new one Event dedicated to the Hunting, Individual Protection and Target Sports communities. The Event, conceived and designed by Fiera di Vicenza, sees ANPAM (National Association of Sports and Civil Weapons and Ammunition Manufacturers, member of Confindustria), the reference partner and enjoys the collaboration of ASSORMIERI and CONARMI. An extremely positive result, if compared to the past edition of HUNTING SHOW - of which HIT SHOW is the evolution - which last year also included PESCARE SHOW (in 2015 for the first time an independent exhibition in the Vicenza Fair calendar and which recorded 11 thousand and 500 visitors). Thanks to an innovative exhibition format, HIT SHOW has been able to enhance the world of hunting, self-defense and sport shooting, placing itself as a new business platform, a reference point for one of the excellent sectors of Made in Italy and among the most strategic in an internationalization key. From the very beginning, Fiera di Vicenza intended to give HIT SHOW a strong international flair, offering excellent organizational capacity and a cutting-edge exhibition infrastructure..
Evolution of the successful experience of HUNTING SHOW organized in the previous eight years by Fiera di Vicenza, HIT SHOW hosted the top brands in the arms and ammunition sector for sporting and civil use, companies in the hunting sector, manufacturers of tools and accessories for personal defense, technical clothing, optics, products for sport shooting, for the world of outdoor and for dog lovers. 314 overall exhibitors - 65% more than in 2014 - including 48 foreigners from 22 countries, distributed in an interactive and experiential layout. The many business opportunities for the B2B segment were favored also thanks to the definition of targeted appointments between companies and qualified international buyers. Great success was achieved by the mobile shooting range and in general the large space dedicated to sport shooting, which involved many enthusiasts and presented demonstrations by some of the most successful champions in the sector. Through conferences and seminars, particular attention was also paid to the issues of safety, culture and environmental sustainability, in particular for the world of hunting.

Among the most significant events of the event, the inaugural conference HIT SHOW and the sports and civil weapons sector, data and perspectives of Made in Italy excellence, during which the most up-to-date data on the reference market were presented.
Italy is confirmed in first place in Europe as a production of sporting-hunting weapons, with a coverage of about 60% of the entire community offer, and a total of almost 750.000 units. The percentage compared to Europe reaches 70% if we consider only long guns for hunting and shooting, which grew in volume by 9,08% from 2012 to 2014, reaching about 440.000 units. In the same period, the production of replicas and muzzle loading increased by 17,87%, while that of short guns decreased by 11,41%, which however represents the sector most subject to the variability of large orders from police forces. . Italy is also the most important exporter in the world of sporting, commercial and ammunition weapons, in particular in the USA (45%), with exports that touch 90% of production. Between 2012 and 2014 all export items grew: + 20% for long guns, + 13,95% for short weapons, + 20,24% for ammunition and + 65% for powder. The total turnover that revolves around the sector reaches 8 billion euros a year, 0,50% of GDP, with approximately 95.000 employees.
Another important event, on Sunday 15 February the conference entitled The union makes the environment took place. An alliance for the environment between Expo and European governance, starting from five concrete proposals, organized by CNCN (National Hunting and Nature Committee) and dedicated to promoting a new environmental culture. Among the other authoritative speakers, Barbara Degani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of the Territory and the Sea intervened. The conference focused on five concrete proposals, all aimed at emphasizing the happy union between the passion for hunting and total respect for the environment, understood in its balance between biodiversity and sustainable development.
HIT SHOWS also gave space to creative writing, to deepen all the nuances of the passion for hunting, hosting the awards ceremony of the literary competitions organized by Cacciando.com on Saturday 14 February, dedicated both to expert writers and to children and young people of elementary and middle schools.
The first edition of HIT DOG SHOW, Show dedicated to dog lovers and open to dog breeds not specifically dedicated to the hunting world. The event, which was attended by over 1300 dogs, hosted two National Shows and National Breed Meetings. During HIT SHOWS the press conference for the presentation of Game Fair Italy 2015, which this year celebrates its 25th edition. For the first time the only example of an Italian country festival will take place in Grosseto, from 30 May to 1 June in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma.
