Saturday 22 October a beautiful sun welcomed the large group of hunters from Blaser Club Italy for the first wild boar hunt of the 2016-2017 season. The invitation appeared for some time on the FB page of the club, the diligent President Francesco Giordano never failed to remind the members of the fateful date. Between denials, adhesions and last-minute confirmations, many have come to this long-awaited event. In the splendid setting of the Montozzi estate, in the province of Arezzo, a truly impressive expulsion was held for the number of stalls deployed: 108, to which the numerous canai must be added. Giuseppe Arangio lent himself to the delicate organization and logistics. The work of the dogs and their handlers was masterful, allowing many guests to have fun. The luckiest stalls have seen many animals pass by, many of which have been killed, not to mention the many inevitable and (let's face it) nice pans!
At the end of the day, which began with a thick fog, 28 wild boars were on the ground under the typical sun of Arezzo, shy and elusive like its inhabitants at the beginning, warm and welcoming after a little knowledge ...
