The Associazione Cacciatori Veneti-CONFAVI and the Associazione Enalcaccia Pesca e Tiro have decided to organize a large event of the Veneto hunters on Saturday 25 January 2014 starting at 15,00 pm at the Vicenza Fair (Sala Palladio). All the hunters belonging to all the hunting associations of the Veneto were invited to this event. All the regional councilors of Veneto were also invited, all the regional councilors of all the political forces present in the Veneto Regional Council, all the deputies elected in Veneto representing all the political forces present in the national Parliament and in the European Parliament.
The purpose of the event is to raise awareness among all political forces on the problems that continue to afflict hunters in the Veneto region, starting with the danger of approval of the new proposal for the Regional Wildlife Hunting Plan recently adopted by the Veneto Regional Council which, if approved by the Regional Council , would cause irreparable damage to hunting and hunters in the Veneto region.
We remind you that in this unique proposal for a new Regional Hunting Wildlife Plan presented by the Veneto Regional Council, among the many atrocities, an increase in the membership fee for hunters is expected, up to six times the current one, to pay the damages. caused by wildlife; the drastic reduction of the huntable territory; the raising of hunting density indices with the consequent expulsion of a considerable number of hunters from the current ATCs and Alpine districts; the exclusion of hunters from the right to participate in the assembly of members of the ATC; the application of new, further and unacceptable limitations to the exercise of the hunting activity.
The public meeting of 25 January 2014 will also have the purpose of requesting all political forces to restore traditional hunts in Veneto, starting from hunts in derogation, as explicitly provided for and permitted by all current regulations, both at national level. than at a European level. During the meeting at the Vicenza Fair on 25 January 2014, we will not fail to remind all political forces of the request to simplify the regulations on stalking for hunting use, which currently provide for a series of unjustified, very expensive and very complicated bureaucratic requirements.
The hunters of Veneto and the bearers of rural culture want to see concrete facts from those who, regardless of the political party they belong to, have been called to represent the citizens of Veneto at all institutional levels.
