Hunters and Hunters. New wave of protests in the hills: this time the "hunters disrespectful of the property of others ".
Less than a month after the opening of the Hunting season of Lazio (ending January 31, 2016) some hunters who are not following the rules and property of others are angering landowners.
Many complained that they found "cut fences, garbage, cartridge cases, remains of killed animals, hunting pellets and cartridges - write some owners of Tolfa and Allumiere - not to mention broken branches and crushed vegetables and chestnuts were taken away ”.
In this regard, however, the president of the Circolo Cacciatori Allumiere, Carlo Folli, intervenes: “We reject the accusations to the sender: if these facts happened to make them, it was not the hunters of Allumiere and Tolfa we can get our hands on the fire. We know the rules and respect each other's funds. I can assure you that this is not our doing. "
In support of the hill hunters there are also some residents who explain: "We are the owners of vineyards and chestnut woods who are asking local hunters to come and hunt wild boars with us since we are invaded, but unfortunately the wild boar hunting season is not yet open. ".
At the moment, however, there are no official complaints presented to the Carabinieri of the Allumiere Station. So who are these annoying and disrespectful hunters? The answer in the hills is unanimous: “Unfortunately there are many hunters who come from outside who do not know the rules and therefore create a lot of damage”.
Among other things, some residents of Tolfa and Allumiere found in their funds "a lot of garbage, shells and pellets and therefore these are the evident signs of the passage of hunters". A family who owns a property in Allumiere then wrote denouncing a serious fact: "Sunday while we were in our country house we heard gunshots right next to our house and I was very scared".
Meanwhile, the Forest Guard reminds everyone that for the 2015-2016 hunting season the new optical-reading hunting card has been adopted and that hunting can be exercised only if equipped with a card issued by the province of residence through the Municipalities; the hunting card is valid throughout the national territory.
It is also recalled that a specific regulation obliges hunters to collect shells and prohibits them from cutting trees and disfiguring the environment and therefore the men of the State Forestry Corps operate a strict control and there will be severe penalties for contravening the regulations.
