Hunters and Environment. Even the Salento hunters intent on protecting the "great beauty". The Territorial Area of Hunting of the Province of Lecce has, in fact, proposed the fourth edition of the “Environment as a common good” project.
On the occasion of the next "World Earth Day", hunters will also contribute to the moments of awareness to clean up the waste woods and degraded environments of the Lecce province. The initiative is open to any kind of association, both hunting and environmentalist. But also to schools, municipalities, citizens who care about the protection of the territory.
It will be L'Ambito Territoriale di Caccia to provide the material necessary for the reclamation: advertising posters, gloves, bags and hats. The waste will be disposed of with the differentiated system, while a one-off voucher of 200 euros will be given to each association that will participate in the project.
In the final provincial event an exhibition will be proposed that will illustrate the initiatives carried out, in which a participant certificate will be delivered. Entries must be submitted from 6th to 16th April.
"With this project - observes Daniele Danieli - president of the territorial hunting area - we intend to create a balance between man and nature based on respect for the territory and the environment, an action aimed at improving and preserving our Common Good. . It will be an opportunity to demonstrate that keeping nature alive and active is a duty of each of us, in the certainty that all this can contribute to making the environment more liveable and at the same time creating situations of ever greater sensitivity, responsibility and collaboration between the various social subjects and territorial institutions ".
