Hunting: Liguria, the president of the Province of Savona, Angelo Vaccarezza criticizes the regional resolutions for the hunting discipline that have given rise to continuous appeals to the TAR, "they were badly written".

Savona Province President Angelo Vaccarezza has taken a clear stance on the issue of hunting, especially regarding the two appeals filed by the Regional Administrative Court (TAR). "After the disastrous hunting situation, where three contested resolutions were passed, two of which were won, the final result is one: the resolutions were poorly written. Today, Councilor Briano is once again attacking an issue he clearly doesn't understand," Vaccarezza continues. "It's true that the 2007 regional resolution (Burlando Council) was a terrible resolution. For this reason, it was revoked with an emergency measure by the Liguria Region (Burlando Council). This means that from 2007 to today, Councilor Briano has failed to realize he has a law in place that has done nothing but harass the businesses operating within his territory." "The only reason," explains President Vaccarezza, "this law hasn't caused so much damage is that it has never been respected. Today, the Region realizes this and, once again, is intervening with an emergency document... It makes me think that the Region is actually an emergency room that always operates under red code. We want to be governed by an agency that plans, that is, that carries out diagnostics, the necessary prevention to avoid the chronicity of behaviors that are harmful to the community."

Continuing Vaccarezza says, “The Sic are sites of community interest regulated by community and state law and identified by the region which then delegates the management of these sites to local authorities. In the province of Savona, the majority of the Sic identified by the region have been entrusted by the Liguria Region to the direct management of the Province of Savona. The territory of Calizzano is part of a Sic managed by the Province of Savona and it is for this reason that tomorrow evening I will be present in Calizzano at the public meeting ".

Finally, the president Vaccarezza concluded, “I inform Councilor Briano that I have already entrusted a professional with an assignment for the preparation of a management plan on Sic and all this under the regional law n. 28 of 10 July 2009 to which perhaps the Councilor would do better to give a reading ”.
