Hunting and Biodiversity: Today the round table concludes the Ecodem Festival scheduled in San Gimignano.
Is the country destined to experience the conflict over hunting and environmental protection indefinitely or are agreements possible in the interest of the community?
The Democratic Party and the Democratic Ecologists have for some time been pursuing the search for a possible collaboration between the various social actors, starting with farmers, hunters and environmentalists, and they have taken on board, out of controversy and propaganda excesses, to present a series of proposals , supported by the indications of science and in compliance with community standards, which keep together wildlife and environmental conservation, the protection of agricultural production and sustainable hunting.
At the Ecodem Party we will return to talk about these issues at the highest levels, as has not happened for some time now to try to reopen the door that has been incorrectly closed.
“Agriculture, biodiversity, hunting policies: an alliance for the good governance of the territory” this is the title of the round table scheduled today, Friday 6 August in San Gimignano (in the province of Siena) at the National Day of Democratic Ecologists.
Marco Ciarafoni, head of wildlife policies and biodiversity Pd, Susanna Cenni, deputy Pd and member of the Agriculture Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, Gianni Salvadori, Councilor for Agriculture and Hunting of the Tuscany Region, Fulvio Mamone Capria will take part in the debate, which will be held from 21 pm. , vice president of Lipu (Italian League for the protection of birds), Gianluca Dall'Olio, national president of Federcaccia, Antonino Morabito, head of Biodiversity Legambiente, Osvaldo Veneziano, national president of Arcicaccia.
