This morning starting at 8.45 am the Venetian Customs House in Lazise hosts an international conference dog lover on the theme «The mountain and da woodcocks: current events, hypotheses and future perspectives ", organized by the" Luigi Delaini Dog Group from Verona "with the patronage of the Rosa Gallo Foundation. The appointment, particularly suitable for hunters dog lovers, will see the participation of experts, international judges and test organizers, who will discuss organizational issues and regulation of specialist tests. At the end of the morning, the Association of mountain dog and woodcock hunters will be presented. Following, the awarding of 4 competition competitions held in 2014: among these the Salandini Pilastri Trophy, relative to the most prestigious competition concerning mountain game trials.
Last year the Veronese Dog Group celebrated the fortieth year of its foundation, four decades of intense activity in the field of hunting dogphilia, of the exhibitions reserved for the various dog breeds. Its birth is due to the engineer Luigi Delaini, from Lazise, to whom it was later named after his death. Today the president of the Group is Professor GianGaetano Delaini, son of Luigi, a surgeon.
