Hunting and Weapons: the obligation to present a medical certificate by May 4, 2015 for holders of firearms does not concern hunters.
For those who hold a firearm, perhaps inherited and kept for emotional reasons, duly reported but without being the holder of a specific firearms license (hunting or sports) there are a few days left - the deadline is May 4 - to fulfill the obligation to present the medical certificate required for the issue of the permit for the purchase / possession of weapons, unless it has already been produced in the six years prior to the date of 5 November 2013 (as in the case of holders of a valid firearms license). This means that hunters are licensed to hunting, are exempt from this obligation, having fulfilled it at the time of renewal of the license itself. It can be read on the website of the State Police (https://www.poliziadistato.it/ Articolo/view/36638/) which, commenting on the innovations introduced with Legislative Decree No. 121 of 29 September 2013, which entered into force on 5 November reminds that "Those who, in the six years prior to the entry into force of the decree, have already delivered the certificate at the time of request for a firearms license or authorization to purchase firearms ”.
