The Arcicaccia hunting association of Modena, together with the group of Livorno hunters from Castagneto Carducci, have donated in recent days to the Pediatric Department of the Ramazzini Hospital in Carpi 7 thousand 250 euros. A contribution for the purchase of a neonatal ultrasound system, the result of the generosity and commitment of over 450 hunters belonging to 18 clubs scattered throughout the provincial territory.
“Before being hunters we are citizens of this community hit by the tragedy of the earthquake - explains Riccardo Galantini, president of Arci Caccia Modena -. Our small contribution is intended to be a recognition, and a thank you, for the commitment shown by the social and health workers during the earthquake emergency. In particular for those who work with children, in Pediatrics, to give support and assistance to the smallest and most defenseless ".
“The total cost of the new equipment is around 30 thousand euros. With this important donation we are approaching the finish line. Now we hope that others will also follow the example of the Arcicaccia in order to be able to announce the acquisition of the ultrasound system in a short time ”underlined the management of Ramazzini and the staff of the Pediatric Operative Unit directed by Dr. Adriana Borghi.
