Fronto's appointment
The first 2 races of the National Championship archived Historical reenactments, in Ferrara on 12 May and in Vallefoglia (Pu) on 2 June, on 28 July it took place in Frontone (Pu), in the splendid setting of its castle - completely renovated, which today represents one of the clearest examples of military architecture of the '1th century - the XNUMXst Italian Individual and Team Championship of Historical Re-enactment Society organized by the Asd Archers of the Three Peaks.
Great pride
The president of the organizing company, Alessandro Orazi, is enthusiastic: “I am very proud to have organized this 1st Italian Historical Re-enactment Championship with my Asd, the starting point at a competitive sporting level for this particular national archery reality. All this was possible thanks to Fidasc, which gave us this opportunity, to the commitment of the members who, animated by great passion, dedicate their time and energy to our beloved sport and thanks to the mayor of the Municipality of Frontone - Daniele Tagnani - who made this splendid location available." As already anticipated in the news relating to the stages of the National Championship, the competition formula and the locations used were found to be highly attractive for the archers who, for many years, have frequented the various historic Italian circuits, finding a regulatory approach similar to the competitions held so far. . As mentioned, the Regulations of the Historical Re-enactment competitions take into account - and how could it not - the peculiar characteristics of the various Italian historical circuits, mediating the various souls and spirit of the contenders. It is true, however, that some adjustments to the current Regulations will have to be made, taking into account the experiences gained in the 2 above-mentioned races and in the remaining ones until the end of the year.
Competitive look
The Italian Championship was the further main test to understand how and where to intervene at a regulatory level with a view to 2025 but, on this occasion, the competitive aspect prevailed: this test was the forge that produced the first National Representative Historic "Hunting Archery - Historic" Fidasc (6 athletes, the first classified for each class and category), unique and absolute novelty in the national competitive sports scenario. The archers knew this and for this reason they spared no energy during the competition, in order to compete in the best possible way - possibly successfully - and obtain the place in the National Team. Archers who, so far, have had the pleasure of obtaining quality positions within the various realities they belong to, and who finally have the opportunity to compete at an international competitive level as early as 2025, which is no small feat, also due to the notable resonance and value of Coni honors achieved by finishing on the podium in competitions of this type. Inserted in the same competition context, the title of Italian Champion Club was also assigned, by adding the scores - after applying the relevant compensation coefficients - of the best 3 archers of each Club.
The next championship
Title much coveted by the ASD Fidasc, whose archers have participated for years, throughout Italy, in various tournaments and historical stakes. Responsibility for the race was entrusted by Fidasc to the Coordinator Delegate Alessandro Orazi and to the Race Directors Davide Ruspini, Marco Di Lorenzo and Gianni Soffritti. The National Archery Disciplinary Commission praises them and all the contenders for the sportsmanship and loyalty that characterized this competition, a substantial characteristic that must be recognized to all archers who compete in historical costume. See you then on the competition fields of the next 3 National Historical Re-enactment Championship challenges. All that remains is to wait for the next Italian Individual and Team Championship of Historical Reenactment Clubs, already set for 1 June 2025, in which the National Representative will be formed that will compete in the HDH-IAA Historical World Championship 2025 in Hungary (source: FIDASC ).
