Forlì: The second edition of Caccia & Country Expo has started. Tomorrow shows the market, ideas for shopping, many activities for everyone and a conference on fly fishing.
Forlì 8 December 2012 - Snow and bad weather did not discourage the fans who showed up at the ticket office since 9 am. The prize competition continues to win valuable hunting and fishing equipment. In the 4 pavilions there are many possibilities to try out the latest news and buy material and technical equipment. Tomorrow Sunday, the last day, it will be repeated, from 9-19.
The second edition of Caccia & Country Expo, the event dedicated to the hunting and fishing world scheduled at the Forlì Fair until tomorrow, Sunday 9 December, got under way at 9 am, under a light splash of snow.
The inaugural ceremony was attended, among others, by the President of the Province of Forlì-Cesena, Massimo Bulbi, and the President of the Forlì Fair, Giorgio Grazioso. Together with them the president of the city council Paolo Ragazzini, that of the Forlì-Cesena Chamber of Commerce, Alberto Zambianchi together with the military authorities of the territory. Since the morning, many people flocked to the four pavilions of the Fair to visit the exhibition spaces of Italian excellence in the sector and to be able to test and buy the latest news in terms of equipment and technical clothing; great curiosity for the shooting range and for the many areas equipped with various kinds of initiatives that directly involve the public.
Much interest for the Consorzio Armaioli Italiani, present at the Fair together with 12 companies registered to illustrate their activities, the services offered and the professional courses dedicated to enthusiasts or to those who have yet to obtain a license. At the ConArmi exhibition space, the public will also be able to receive advice on maintenance and repair of weapons, as well as information on construction techniques.
Also present in Forlì was Tubertini, a leading company in the fishing sector, which brought great champions of various disciplines such as Ferruccio Gabba to the Fair, as well as the Emilian Line team (fresh winner of the World Championship for Boat Fishing Clubs held in Spain) to available to the public to provide useful advice. For enthusiasts it is also possible to admire the 2013 novelties such as the Roubaisienne Concept 8, a fishing rod made with one less element than the traditional 9, as well as trying the artificial lures in the tank together with the spinning fishing specialists.
Tomorrow morning at 11 the Bolognese company will present the 144 calendar in its exhibition area (Hall A Stand 2013), the traditional collection of suggestive photographic images dedicated to the world of fishing that accompany enthusiasts throughout the twelve months of the year. To animate the presentation there will also be some of the "models" who posed for the living of the Emilian company.
Also tomorrow, at 16 pm, a conference entitled "Fly fishing, ethics and technique between past and future" will take place, organized by the Italian Fishermen Club in Moscow: an opportunity to deepen the history, ethics and evolution of this equipment. discipline, in addition to drawing a comparison between the approach to local and foreign waters. Speakers Sandro and Renato Franzero, respectively National Secretary and President of the CIPM, in addition to the Vice President Massimo Maggiani. Together with them, three historical representatives and experts of fly fishing such as Antonio Fadda, Roberto Daveri and Mauro Borselli, writer and columnist, who will focus on the new trends of this discipline.
There will still be many opportunities to learn more about the world of hunting, fishing and our ecosystem, thanks to educational initiatives, dioramas and photographic exhibitions, such as the one dedicated to underwater fishing, by the Cormorano Sub Forlì, which hosts about 40 shots made between Indonesia, the Komodo Archipelago, the Maldives and the Mediterranean by Simone Focacci and Roberto Antolini from Forlì.
Also for the whole day of tomorrow, Sunday 9 December, it will finally be possible for all visitors to participate in the rich prize competition that offers prized hunting rifles and fishing rods. The pavilions of the Fair will also remain open tomorrow from 9 to 19.
Unfortunately, the “Hunting & Country Trophy” (Sant'Uberto specialty) scheduled for today in Rocca San Casciano on the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines was canceled due to bad weather. The approximately 80 participants in the competition, who would have had to face in 4 heats starting from this morning until tomorrow morning, had to give in to the snow, as the rules of the Trophy do not allow hunting when the ground is covered with snow. . The appointment, postponed to Caccia & Country 2013!
