Hunting: Brescia, in the Province there is discussion of live calls for hunting use, hunting in derogation and possible changes to the regional hunting regulations.
Withdrawal in derogation, provisions on live recalls and the possible revision of the regional law of 2012. These are the main topics debated by the Fourth Commission of the Province. The situation linked to live calls is particularly hot, i.e. all those migratory birds that caught in the rocks would then be used by hunters as calls.
Last July, the TAR accepted an appeal presented by the Lac (hunting abolition league), surprising everyone and going against the regional law which instead authorized this practice. An important precedent to be taken into account in the five-year plan approved by the Region for the years between 2012 and 2016, which provides for the progressive reduction of the capture of wild birds with nets.
In fact, replacing the gradual reduction of live calls with breeding ones, up to the complete closure of the capture plants for the year 2017. Closure that for many would coincide with the end of hunting for all "normal people" in favor of a more expensive "elite hunt" that not all hunting enthusiasts could support and encourage. In this case, only a small part of hunters will resist, but some argue the inadequacy of a legislature that would not provide everyone with the same opportunities.
Some doubts have also arisen regarding the levy in derogation which should take into account the data provided by the Ispra of Bologna to quantify how far the hunters can go. But in this case it is the total absence of data that clashes with a law that many define as ambiguous. Furthermore, the position on the regional legislation set up last year to protect wildlife and protect the environmental balance and discipline of hunting must also be assessed. The possibility of revising this already approved text found several admirers.
