Hunting: Brescia, Rolfi of Lega Nord on the question of hunting huts on Lake Iseo, “Renewing the authorizations quickly. Enough with animalist fanaticism ”.
Question presented to the Environment Committee on the non-renewal of the authorization of the hunting lodges located near the Sebino peat bog reserve. The deputy leader of the Lega Nord Fabio Rolfi intervened on the merits. "It is time to say enough to the fanaticism of certain animal rights associations - attacks Fabio Rolfi - which raise non-existent questions in order to scare those who are in charge of renewing the authorizations of hunting activities, practiced for decades and without negative repercussions on the ecosystem of the area" . “For this reason - continues Rlfi - I wanted to submit a question to the council where they ask for information on how to resolve the knot that has prevented (up to now) 6 huts from having the necessary authorization to carry out hunting activities. In fact, it should be remembered that these are structures located outside the reserve, for which in past years the permits have been renewed with the green light of the managing body and where it is possible to practice hunting only of species permitted by law.
Even the request to carry out the VINCA (Environmental Impact Assessment) appears to be a pretext and the daughter of an anti-hunt ideological vision; these huts in fact pre-exist any legislation on the subject and for this reason the necessary authorization has always been given by the park manager, all proof that these activities have a non-destructive impact on the fauna balance of the area.
It is not possible to continue with the usual animal rights to prevent or delay the start of the hunting season for interested hunters. This is why I believe it necessary for the Lombardy Region to unravel the problem quickly, also helping to identify guidelines to help local authorities interested in finding the shortest and best solutions even for similar cases in Lombardy. As Lega Nord we have always been convinced - concludes Fabio Rolfi - of the importance of safeguarding a centuries-old and positive tradition such as hunting which, if carried out in compliance with the rules and respecting the environment, contributes significantly to the protection of our ecosystem. .
