Watch out for the straps for live reminders: if old, counterfeit or non-compliant, they involve the seizure and notification of crime news for attempted aggravated fraud. This is the alarm launched in recent days by the offices in via Milano, seat of the provincial hunting councilor, where, in these days, hunting enthusiasts are going to ask for the replacement of the identification rings of live calls. Well: it seems that a large number of hunters (mostly people of a certain age) went to the counters bringing with them bands even 20 years old (it is therefore impossible that they have been removed to specimens still alive ), or do not comply with the provisions of the legislation (governed by law 157/1992 and by art. 26 of LR 26/1993).
The markings are removed from live birds held and then delivered in equal number to the applicant. These are self-tightening plastic rings, of different colors depending on the era in which they were distributed. But not all returns would be "regular": ties that are too obsolete, non-compliant or false. The law provides that the hunter who presents them will be denounced ex officio for attempted aggravated fraud.
