The controversial decision of the TAR
The regional president of Federcaccia Veneto Emiliano Galvanetto, together with his counterparts from other regional hunting associations – ANLC, Enalcaccia, Arcicaccia, ANUU Migratoristi, EPS, Caccia, Pesca e Ambiente, Cacciatori Italiani, addressed the Regional Councillor for Territory, Culture, Security, Migratory Flows, Hunting and Fishing of Veneto, Cristiano Corazzari to request an intervention by the Region regarding the Regional Hunting Calendar in light of the decision of the TAR Veneto.
Not just huts
This is the text: "Yet another low blow by the Veneto Regional Administrative Court against the hunting calendar. Years go by but once again, the ISPRA is in charge with its opinions that should not be binding but that for the regional administrative court are practically "law". The already known problems with the huts, with the annotations of the heads and with the controls started in Rome that already last year led many hunters to stay home were not enough, now that we are entering the heart of the season we are forced not to practice our passion due to an ideological prejudice against hunting that is evident in the ISPRA opinions and consequent pronouncements of the TAR that are absolutely biased".
First Aid
“The present associations Anlc, Enalcaccia, Arcicaccia, Anuu., Eps, Cpa, Cacciatori Italiani and Fidc, part of the extended control room, aware that this problem must be resolved first and foremost by the national government and the European Parliament, ask the Veneto Region to intervene promptly and in the shortest time possible to adopt suitable measures to restore as much as possible the hunting provisions already established in the hunting calendar, restoring dignity to the Veneto hunting world that has regularly paid for a right that is now being denied to it”.
