The Regional Council of Campania has approved with its own resolution the Regional Hunting Calendar for the three-year period 2012-2015 and the Calendar for the 2012-2013 Hunting Season; the documents of the resolution with the relative attachments were published today in the Official Bulletin of the Campania Region.
Pursuant to Article 19 of the Regional Law 4 August 2011, the Hunting Calendar is valid for three years, the Forests, Hunting and Fishing Sector will modify the reference dates and ensure that they are published for each hunting year. The three-year calendar may in any case be modified with a justified provision of the Regional Council.

The hunting exercise for the 2012/2013 vintage can be practiced in the ways and times indicated below.
PRE-OPENING - On 1, 2, 5, 12 and 13 September 2012 hunting is allowed for the turtledove species (Streptopelia turtur), only from temporary stalking and up to 13:00; only on 12 and 13 September 2012 is hunting allowed even on quail (Coturnix coturnix) until 13:00. During the pre-opening period it is not possible to practice hunting in the Special Protection Areas of the Region.
OPENING - Hunting is allowed for the following species and periods:
a) Species that can be hunted from the third Sunday of September 2012 to 31 October 2012: turtledove (Streptopelia turtur), in compliance with the provisions of point 2 of article 18 of Law 157/92;
b) Species that can be hunted from the third Sunday of September 2012 to November 29 2012: quail (Coturnix coturnix), in compliance with the provisions of point 2 of article 18 of Law 157/92;
c) Species that can be hunted from the third Sunday of September 2012 to 31 December 2012, in consideration of the repopulations carried out: common hare (Lepus europaeus), wild rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus), and pheasant (Phasianus colchicus);
d) Species that can be hunted from the third Sunday of September 2012 to 20 January 2013: woodcock (Scolopax rusticola), magpie (Pica pica), jay (Garrulus glandarius), fox (Vulpes vulpes);
e) Species that can be hunted from the third Sunday of September 2012 to January 30, 2013: teal (Anas crecca), gadwall (Anas strepera), pintail (Anas acuta), coot (Fulica atra), lapwing (Vanellus vanellus), mallard (Anas platyrhynchos) );
f) Species that can be hunted from the third Sunday of September 2012 to January 31, 2013: snipe (Gallinago gallinago), wigeon (Anas penepole), whisk (Lymnocryptes);
g) Species that can be hunted from the third Sunday of September to 21 October 2012, in consideration of the repopulations carried out: gray partridge (Perdix perdix), for this species hunting is prohibited for the entire year in the Colli Petrete, Croci and Spinosa areas of the Municipality di Rocca d'Evandro, pursuant to the first paragraph of art. 17 LR 8/96;
h) Species that can be hunted from 1 October to 31 December 2012: lark (Alauda arvensis), blackbird (Turdus merula - until 30 September only from stalking), wild boar (Sus scrofa);
i) Huntable species from 1 October 2012 to 20 January 2013: cesena (Turdus pilaris), song thrush (Turdus philomelos);
j) Huntable species from 1 October 2012 to 31 January 2013: redwing (Turdus iliacus);
k) Species that can be hunted from 1 October 2012 to 10 February 2013 (in application of article 18 paragraph 2 of Law 157/1992): wood pigeon (Columba palumbus), for this species with the limitations from 1 January to 10 February 2013 to adopt exclusively the form of hunting from stalking and daily five-head game bag., And hooded crow (Corvus corone cornix), for the latter species with the limitation, for the period from 20 January to 10 February 2013, of adopt exclusively the form of hunting from stalking.
For the period from XNUMXst to XNUMXth February it is forbidden to place stalks less than five hundred meters from wetlands frequented by waterfowl or from rocky or partially rocky walls. In the presence of unfavorable climatic events for woodcock (Scolopax rusticola) such as snowfall in the wintering period and / or prolonged periods of frost, the Provinces must order the immediate suspension of the collection of this species in the areas concerned, and advertise this prohibition with the utmost timeliness. On this species, the start of the hunting activity must be postponed by one hour, and the deadline anticipated by one hour.
In the Special Protection Areas of the Region, hunting is forbidden in the month of January, with the exception of hunting from fixed and temporary stalking, and in wandering form for two days a week (Wednesday and Sunday), as well as with the exception of hunting ungulates. In order to limit the disturbance caused by hunting to protected bird species, in the Special Protection Areas (SPA) hunting is only allowed from 7:00 to 12:00.
CARNIERE - sedentary fauna: two total animals per day with the limitation to one animal per day for the wild boar species, one animal every three days for the partridge species and one animal per week for the hare species, the seasonal collection must not exceed 35 heads for the wild boar, 5 heads for the partridge, while for the hare the maximum number of heads that can be taken is 10; In the case of hares being killed, the hunter is invited, possibly with the help of the Association to which he belongs, to report to ISPRA ex INFS (Via Ca 'Fornacetta 9, 40064, OZZANO EMILIA (BO), Tel. 051/6512111, e-mail: [email protected]) date and place of killing, by sending, if possible, a digital photo of the downed head to the highlighted email address, or a fragment of the downed person's ear preserved in white ethyl alcohol. - migratory fauna: twenty animals in total per day with the following limitations: ten animals for anatidae, slowsters and waders with the limitation to five animals for codon and pochard, ten animals for blackbird, quail, dove, wood pigeon (from XNUMX February only five animals for wood pigeon) and winds for lark. In relation to the entire hunting season: twenty animals per pochard, gadwall, teal, whisk, snipe, shoveler, garganey and woodcock, fifty animals per lapwing, quail and turtledove (for these last two species no more than twenty total heads in the period pre-opening, in compliance with the daily limits), and seventy for larks.
HUNTING DAYS - Each hunter cannot carry out more than three hunting days per week; the days carried out in farms - wildlife - hunting and in other regions must also be counted. It is not allowed to hunt on Tuesdays and Fridays.
TEMPORARILY PROTECTED SPECIES - Hunting is forbidden for the entire hunting year to the following species due to the reduced faunal consistency of the respective populations or similar species, as well as in consideration of the hunting policy and environmental protection choices consolidated in the Region: fighter (Philomachus pugnax ), rock partridge (Alectoris graeca), red partridge (Alectoris rufa), red deer (Cervus elaphus), fallow deer (Dama dama), roe deer (Capreolus capreolus), tufted duck (Aythya fuligula), mouflon (Ovis musimon), brambling (Fringilla montifringilla) , and finch (Fringilla coelebs); Furthermore, hunting on species not listed in the previous paragraphs pre-opening and opening is prohibited, even if provided for by the lists of Law 157/92 and LR 8/96.
HUNTING HOURS - The hunting activity can be exercised from one hour before sunrise until sunset, pursuant to the 2nd paragraph of art. 24 of Law R. 10.04.1996, n. 8, taking into account the summer time in the period of validity (the forecast tables for sunrise and sunset are attached).
USE AND TRAINING DOGS - The training and training of hunting and following pointing dogs, possibly also in the structures established by the Municipalities in the mountain areas pursuant to paragraph 16, art, 1, LR 21 January 2010, n.2 , is governed by Article 15 of Regional Law 10 of 1996 April 8, and by the Regulation "New regulations for the operation of dog training areas on farmed game (Article 15, paragraph 5, letter c) and paragraph 7 of Regional Law 10/4/1996, n.8) "issued with DPGR n. 627, of 22 September 2003. In areas where hunting is not prohibited and there are no crops in place, it is allowed from 25 July to 30 August 2012, except Tuesdays and Fridays, from dawn to 10.00 or from 18.00 at 20.00; In the areas for the training and training of dogs, referred to in Article 15, paragraph 3, of Regional Law 10 April 1996, established exclusively in areas of little wildlife interest and in which killing is only permitted of farmed game belonging to huntable species, the activity is not allowed on Tuesdays and Fridays and in the days of suspension possibly arranged by the Province, as long as the safety of the wildlife present is always guaranteed.
In order to avoid disturbance to wildlife in the reproductive season and dependence of the young on their parents, the Provincial Administrations will prohibit these activities in areas where there is still the presence of reproducing fauna and / or unripe specimens, similarly trainers who detect their presence must immediately stop their activities by reporting the affected area to the hunting office of the competent province. In the wildlife-hunting and agri-tourism hunting farms, the training of dogs is allowed during the hunting period. In the SPAs training and training activities are subject to the limitations set forth in the following paragraph “Prohibitions in Natura 2000 Areas”, point 2. letters h) and i).
The use of the pointing and hunting dog is allowed on 12 and 13 September 2012 only for hunting on quail, and from the third Sunday of the same month to 30 December 2012, subsequently the use of the pointing dog is allowed only on species that follow and for the periods established for them in this calendar: Woodcock, Porciglione, Frullino, Snipe, Moorhen, ducks along the waterways. The use of the follow-up dog is allowed from the third Sunday of September to 30 December 2012. After that date and until the end of the hunting activities, the follow-up dogs can be used exclusively for fox hunting, both in hunts. authorized by the Provincial Administrations (on the days specified in the following paragraph), both in hunting or agro-tourism-hunting farms (in the latter case on farmed game).
PROHIBITED HUNTING AREAS - Hunting is always prohibited in state-owned banished areas, in parks and nature reserves, in repopulation and capture areas, in natural protection oases and in all other protected natural areas. Hunting is always prohibited throughout the territory used for the protection of wild fauna pursuant to the 3rd paragraph of Article 10 of the Law of 11 February 1992, No. 157 as well as Article 10, 1st paragraph - lett. a) of the regional law of 10 April 1996, n ° 8, territory with a perimeter table as set out in paragraph 6 of article 12 of the same regional law 10.04.96, n. woods affected by forest fires for less than ten years, Further prohibitions It is always forbidden: - to hunt, capture or keep any specimen of sedentary and migratory fauna that is not included among those expressly indicated in this calendar, with the exception of mice proper, voles, moles and rats; - to hunt, less than five hundred meters from the marine coast of the continent, along the migration routes of the avifauna delimited by specific signs; - hunt on mountain passes affected by bird migration routes, for a distance of one thousand meters from them (see attachments); - the use of repeating or semi-automatic shotguns with smooth-bore barrels that have not adopted specific fixed devices for the use of no more than two rounds in the magazine; - the use of poisoned morsels; - hunting snipe stalking in any form; - the woodcock post; - unless otherwise established by subsequent immediately applicable Community provisions, use live calls belonging to the Anseriform and Caradriform orders (Ministry of Health Ordinance 8 October 19) if all the requirements specified in Annex A to the Ordinance 2005 August 5 of the Minister have not been completed of health.
CASES - Cartridge cases must always be recovered by the hunter and not left on the hunting site.
