ISPRA and Technical Committee
Starting this year on hunting calendars ISPRA and the Technical Faunistic Hunting Committee will speak: a novelty that leads us right now to work on a topic on which Federcaccia - through its Studies and Research Office - has been at the forefront for years with projects discussed throughout Europe. Federcaccia is there and is already working on tomorrow's hunt.
Buconi's words
These are the words of President Buconi: “It's already April and we're back to breathing hunting air. The Regions are preparing for hunting calendars, some have already prepared the document. Then there is the news that this year, in addition to the opinion of ISPRA, the Regions will have to ask the newly established Technical Faunistic Hunting Committee. It is not a duplicate of ISPRA, but deals with other aspects and assessments, we hope it can contribute to providing greater certainties".
Other key issues
The FIDC number one then added: “We strongly asked for a comparison with Europe on the Key Concepts, the famous migration dates. In fact, the Italian dates must be aligned with those of the European countries, we are preparing research that certifies this alignment. Another aspect we are committed to is the issue of lead."
