Hunting: Campania, the Hunting Associations in mobilization ask for a meeting with the councilor Nugnes; the coordinator Sorrentino: “United to give certainty of law to hunters”.
Official step of the hunting associations of Campania towards the regional council. With a letter shared by Federcaccia, Arcicaccia, Liberacaccia, Enalcaccia, Anuu, Eps and Italcaccia, the regional coordinator of the unitary table Sergio Sorrentino sent, with a letter, to the new councilor for agriculture, hunting and fishing Daniela Nugnes his best wishes. “Success for the assignment received” together with the fact that the hunting associations of Campania will ensure “full availability and collaboration”. The fact that after a long time the delegation of hunting has been assigned to an Assessor represents for the hunting world, it is written in the letter, the hope that there is the will "to take on the themes that are important to us, as central to the 'government action of the Regional Council ”. This is why the hunting associations have requested an urgent meeting. There are decisive issues to discuss for hunting, fauna and the environment: from the changes to the regional law in the parts subject to observations by the Council of Ministers to the preparation of the hunting calendar for which there is a delay with respect to the regulatory provisions and for last, certainly not least, the methods and procedures for implementing the regional wildlife plan.
With the letter signed jointly, the Hunting Associations have also signaled their opposition to the fact that the Regional Council is discussing in the coming days a maxi amendment to the regional law without the associations themselves having been involved in the drafting of the text. There is a need is made explicit in the letter to the regional councilor, who is asked for an intervention in this regard, that "the bill is reported to the Commission and can be launched with all the forces involved, farmers, hunters and environmentalists, a participatory and virtuous process necessary to arrive at proposals that are widely concerted and unassailable on the juridical-legislative level ".
"The Hunting Associations are determined to find solutions that give hunters legal certainty, said Sergio Sorrentino, regional coordinator of the unitary table of hunters' organizations. We present ourselves united to the meeting with the administrators of Campania and with a package of shared proposals also to uncover games and games that are not good for our world. The positions are clear. The proposals are not those that we would like to discuss in the Regional Council but those that we will all formulate together with the councilor in a meeting that we hope will be granted as soon as possible.
