Hunting - Province of Arezzo: The Hunting Cards with the relative ATC quotas will be reduced by 50% for Aretini hunters over 75 years old.
This year the Arezzo hunters born before 31 December 1935 will pay only half of the registration fee to the Territorial Hunting Areas n. 1, 2 and 3. This was established by the Province of Arezzo with a resolution of the Provincial Council which authorizes ATCs to reduce the registration fee to 25 euros for those hunters who are over 75 years old. This is an initiative that takes into account the gradual aging of the hunting population.
In the last hunting season the residents in the Province of Arezzo in activity with more than 75 years were 978. A considerable figure considering that the hunting cards issued by the 39 Arezzo municipalities were 12.554. Approximately one twelfth of the hunters in this Province have therefore reached and exceeded 75 years.
Hence the decision of the Province, supported by the ATC and by the Provincial Council of Hunting, which represents a recognition - also of an economic nature - for all those who, although no longer very young, keep their passion for hunting alive.
