Caccia Ambiente: The first Regional Congress of the Caccia Ambiente Party in Sicily is a success and sees a great participation.
Angelo Stango, the President, opened the meeting, followed by me moderates, the highest ranks of the party. The report by the national organizer and coordinator, Antonino Urpi, was effective and pungent, underlining:
The crowded hall is no longer new in Sicily when there is Caccia Ambiente; bringing together almost a thousand participants, half of them hunters, on a Sunday of celebration and in conjunction with other events, including political ones, is not easy, but so it is.
We are obviously saying and doing things that create consensus; a movement of thought that is identified in a political discourse without hesitation and which serves as an example to all the delegations of Caccia Ambiente.
With this result we will face the electoral phase which is now close, reserving the right to evaluate possible alliances avoiding the rot that today makes politics a profession. We will put these gentlemen at the door, we will go with the new one who wants to change.
This congress, which confirms the composition of the regional board headed by Antonino Urpi, marks the starting point for a path in which we strongly believe.
The work was closed by the National Secretary Angelo Dente, preceded by an intervention by the MEP and member of the Agriculture Commission, professor. Giovanni La Via, who, with words of appreciation for the project undertaken, encourages us to continue our journey. Fishermen, hunters and farmers, all together as we have not seen for some time.
The Forconi movement to which the floor was given, through Mario Ferro, contributed, with a powerful and contemptuous intervention towards certain institutions, to set fire to the room, and then lent a hand to our movement with which it promises future collaboration.
Angelo Dente, appreciating the work done by the Sicilian delegation, focused on the choices that the rural world of traditions and values must make to stop being used by politicians who regularly forget their promises.
The choices will be fundamental, we are men who want to talk to men; the French did it and it paid off.
We are a multitude of equals who, with equal dignity and equal voice, decide together to oppose malpolitics, corruption, bureaucracy.
