Pointing dogs
Pointing dogs are hunting dogs that have the main characteristic that in the presence of prey they stop in different postures from breed to breed and remain motionless, thus signaling the presence of game to the hunter. They are mostly used in hunting galliformes, woodcock, snipe, rarely hares and rails.
