The provincial sections ofArch Hunting e Free Hunt of Florence responded to the press release from Federcaccia. Here is what we read in the note: "We need to make some clarifications regarding the press release recently drawn up by Federcaccia Firenze on the events that are making ridiculous the management of ATC Florence 4. Let's take a step back: you will remember our previous statement condemning the management committee's decision to increase a 20 € the access quota to hunted wild boar.
This resolution was passed on the input of farmers, with the abstention of one of the Federcaccia representatives and the "strange" absence of the other member of the major association. The only contrary is the Arci Caccia representative Mauro Messeri. After this episode, which had considerable media coverage, Federcaccia tried to run for cover, and this resulted in a new meeting of the committee to change the access fee. During this last meeting, the representatives of the hunting associations tried to bring the amount to be paid to access the driven wild boar hunt to € 10 and the farmers responded by proposing € 15. With the clear denial of the representative Arci Caccia, who rejected this bargaining from the local market, the farmers left the room to meet separately and discuss without "prying ears".
This behavior, inconceivable and unacceptable in a serious work group, left no other choice for our representative who, tired of being made fun of, he left the committee. The result is the confirmation of the € 20 fee by the remaining members. Now for Federcaccia Firenze the blame for what happened would be Arci Caccia… Well, there is no limit to indecency. Instead of shooting nonsense accusations, Mr. Tofani should have agreed a line with whoever he nominated in the committee, if they had both been present for the first time and had supported the representative of Arci Caccia, now there would be no problem to discuss. And maybe he could also look for a comparison with the other "unofficial" hunters present in the management committee, in whatever capacity they have been appointed to you, maybe he will be able to find a majority that we will be happy to support for remedy what happened. Or, perhaps, all these subjects are like the famous "thieves of Pisa" who quarreled during the day and at night.
