La hunting in Friuli Venezia Giulia there is a risk of blockage, this is the denunciation of Federcaccia, due to the Regional Wildlife Plan that does not comply with the detailed plans, or rather the 15 district hunting plans. To end up under the magnifying glass is in particular the percentage of withdrawal assigned to the Turriaco reserve, very high compared to the allowed one. The Boschini-Peteano and San Daniele reserves are also above the limits imposed by the Region.
Federcaccia itself raises the anomaly in an official communication to the shareholders: "The Turriaco reserve, the only one in the whole district, has been admitted to the withdrawal of roe in the percentage of 30 per cent of the 2015 survey when the regional wildlife plan places a maximum limit of 25 per cent and all other reserves have been kept below this threshold.
Also in relation to the hare species - continues the note from Federcaccia -, the Turriaco reserve despite having for years a constant decline in the presence of hare in addition to the systematic failure to achieve the withdrawal plans, it was indicated among those in which abatements are still allowed when instead denied to almost all the other neighboring reserves. Unjustifiably penalized for both hare and roe deer were the reserves of Villesse, Ruda, Pieris, San Canzian, La Macorina, San Pier d'Isonzo and Campolongo al Torre ».
There are those who point out that the Turriaco reserve is managed by Albano Bergamasco, at the same time also a member of the Regional Wildlife Committee and district president. That is, who is called to evaluate the district plans. Bergamasco himself was also pinched by the regional forestry corps for "multiple violations of the hunting regulations". Violations that cost him a fine (confirmed by the court of Udine and the Court of Appeal of Trieste).
The problems within the Regional Wildlife Plan, however, do not concern only the Turriaco reserve. «Even the Boschini - Peteano reserve has values that are irreconcilable with the regional device - continues the note from Federcaccia -. In relation to roe deer, the levy required for the next year was 34 per cent. By chance, the director of that reserve is also the district president, Renzo Ambrosi ”.
“Even in the San Daniele reserve - say Federcaccia - a similar situation was found, with a percentage of roe deer being harvested at 28 per cent. The reserve is headed by the district president, Franco Miconi ”. The Regional Wildlife Plan is a general spatial planning for the management of wildlife and habitats. A document that the Region has completed after 20 years of gestation.
The hunting area is divided into fifteen districts, each with its own district hunting plan. Clearly the district hunting plans should implement the provisions of the Regional Wildlife Plan and the heart of the matter lies here: at the moment it does not happen and a single appeal to the TAR would be enough to block hunting in the region without limit.
In fact, the Hunting Wildlife Plan, after having registered the roe deer, establishes that each reserve can kill a maximum of 25 percent of them. "We have found several of these discrepancies - comments the president of Federcaccia Fvg, Paolo Viezzi -, it is better to anticipate appeals and bring everything to legality as soon as possible".
