Hunting in Friuli. With the hunting with wild boar and roe deer, last Sunday 15 May the 2016/2017 hunting season officially opened in Friuli Venezia Giulia. This was established, through an official communication, by the regional council which, in the meeting of 13 May last, gave the green light to the 15 district hunting plans, previously approved by the regional wildlife committee.
More in detail, as early as Sunday the boar it can be hunted in 14 out of 15 districts (excluding, but only for a few days, the Tarvisiano area), while the authorizations for the collection of roe deer will initially concern six hunting districts. Subsequently, the Hunting and Fish Resources service of the Region will communicate to the presidents of the districts the precise terms of the authorizations for collection.
The approval, today in the Council, of the hunting plans is foreseen by the new regional wildlife plan, the general planning tool to achieve the objectives of protection, conservation, reproduction and improvement of wildlife and biodiversity, as well as those of management of the fauna heritage. and hunting in respect both of the principle of equal dignity of all forms of hunting and of the cultures, history, uses, traditions and customs of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
