Hunters not sheltered
Below is the joint press release by Sergio Berlato, president of ACR, Giulia Sottoriva, president of CONFAVI, Umberto Venturini, president of ACV, Gianni Garbujo, president of Italcaccia Veneto, and Gianfranco Vezzaro, president of FCR: “Despite the reassurances provided to the hunting world of Veneto, the Regional Council has decided not to approve the resolution with which it could have clarified which site modifications can be made by hunters of Veneto during the setting up of their hunting posts, defining a bridging provision that would have protected the Venetian hunters themselves from the fines until the new regional law comes into force”.
Inappropriate draft
“And yet the draft resolution had been prepared and brought to the Council in the session of September 17, then withdrawn because it was considered inappropriate. All that remains is to wait for the approval of the new regional law that should be given the green light by the Third Council Commission in the next session and, subsequently approved in the session of October 1 by the Regional Council of Veneto”.
A very bad figure
“We recall that our associations, with a PEC letter dated October 23, 2023, had asked the Regional Council to intervene urgently to resolve the problem. After a year of waiting in vain, the Regional Council promptly decided not to decide. What a great impression!”.
