The law defines what are the means and tools with which to exercise the hunting activity:
Shotgun with smooth bore barrel (monocle, shotgun, superimposed) of caliber not exceeding 12 and up to two shots. Shotgun with smooth bore barrel (semi-automatic) of caliber not exceeding 12 and up to three shots, with semi-automatic repetition, bearing one shot in the barrel and up to a maximum of two in the magazine.
Rifle with rifled core barrel (rifle) with either manual or semi-automatic repeating loading system with caliber not less than 5,6 mm and empty cartridge case not less than 40 mm.

In addition to the aforementioned, the hunter can carry edged and pointed weapons that cannot be used for the killing of fauna but are suitable for skinning or opening passages in the vegetation. During the exercise of the hunting activity, the law requires the hunter to recover the shells of fired cartridges in order to protect the impact on the environment.
