Federcaccia Basilicata informs that the Region with modification to Regional hunting calendar 2023-2024 approved the postponement of the closing of the woodcock and turdid harvest to January 31st. With the same provision, the Region has taken steps to reduce the overall daily game bag to 10 heads instead of 20 for turdids and to 1 head instead of 2 for woodcock.

This was the original text of the Lucanian calendar regarding the dates of the species just mentioned:
– Woodcock from 1 October to 20 January
– Song thrush, Redwing and Cesena from 1 October to 10 January
