During today's morning, Thursday 17 May 2018, the session of the III Commission of the Regional Council of Liguria was characterized by the presentation of the hunting calendar 2018-2019. The commissioner Stefano Mai presented the text, very similar to that of 2016 e Part 2017, even if some food for thought can be done. In particular, amendments were tabled to maintain the two additional days of hunting from a fixed position as regards migration: in this case we are talking about the next months of October and November.
The aforementioned amendment brought together the Democratic Party and the League. ISPRA asked to reduce the additional days to only one, despite the very precise and continuously updated scientific data. According to the PD it is precisely these data that have avoided the challenge of the calendar to the TAR in recent years. In addition to the hunting text, NEVER introduced a series of benefits for new hunters.
The number of subscribers is decreasing and the average age is decidedly high, so we are considering an exemption from the regional membership fee for the first year of registration, an incentive that promises very well. A final illustrated proposal has to do with i mushroom hunters and the obligation of a reflective jacket to allow visibility in the woods.
