The Piedmont sections ofANUUMigrators, Italian Federation of Hunting, Enalcaccia, Game Producers Body e Free Hunt they released a joint note to let people know of the latest decision of TAR. The administrative judges have decided not to suspend the effectiveness of the acts challenged by hunting associations, setting the hearing for the next one 11 July. According to the same associations, this is not a defeat of their appeal, on the contrary the seriousness of the criticisms leveled at the documents of the Piedmont Region that have been challenged is recognized.
A few weeks ago the Regional Council approved a regulatory text that protects 13 huntable species in the current hunting season. This is the wigeon, gadwall, shoveler, pintail, garganey, coot, water rail, whisk, lapwing, tufted duck, pochard, fighter e blackbird.
As explained by the Regional Administrative Court, the appeal of the associations has raised new and very complex issues, therefore they will have to be deepened calmly. Furthermore, the topics have been defined as sensitive and for this reason the hearing was set shortly. Now the sections of the various hunting acronyms will decide which legal line to follow to ensure the best conditions for hunting.
