Latest updates
There are some important news regarding hunting in Sardinia. The Region has approved through a specific decree, much awaited by the island's hunting world, the changes to the calendar relating to 2023-2024 season. These are updates that essentially have to do with turdids and aquatic species.
The changes in detail
Wanting to be even more precise, here is how the changes were decided:
TORDI E CESENE – closing on January 31st in the entire territory except that falling within the Natura 2000 network where it closes on January 11th.
ANATIDI: closing on January 31st in the entire territory except that falling within the Natura 2000 network where it closes on January 21st.
The rulings of the TAR
The Regional Wildlife Committee of Sardinia, as announced some time ago, had decided exactly on the dates as foreseen for the last hunting season, and endorsed by the Regional Administrative Court and the Council of State in 2023 with the sentences referred to in the same decree (source: FIDC) .
