OPENING OF THE HUNTING SEASON: From 15 September 2024.
DOG TRAINING AND TRAINING: From 18 August to 24 August, on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday exclusively from sunrise to 11,00 am. From 25 August to Thursday 12.09.2024, on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, from sunrise to 11,00 am and from 14,00 pm to 19,00 pm (summer time).
TAUPE: Despite the technical arguments we presented, our requests to include the wild dove species in the hunting calendar were not accepted.
WILD BOAR HUNTING: Withdrawal will be permitted from October 2 to January 30, 2024. In October 2024, the ATC, in collaboration with the management districts, will implement an orderly organization of the hunting of hunted wild boar, in order to guarantee the carrying out of other forms of hunting.
Ungulates and migratory
WILD BOAR PICK HUNTING: Despite our opinion previously expressed on the negative impact of this type of withdrawal and having also proposed a differentiated application on the territory focused mainly on the areas affected by the PSA, it will be allowed starting from 18 August 2024 in the unsuitable and suited areas up to midnight, also with the aid of the selective methods provided for in point 2.3, letter b), of the Plan referred to in the decree of the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security of 13 June 2023, as well as the use of attractive foraging and the use of devices pointing device, also digital, for night vision. The ATCs may reserve selective sampling on the species to selective hunters registered with wild boar hunting teams in non-suited areas up to 400 meters from the border of the designated areas.
SASSELLO AND CESENA: Reduced the annual harvestable animals to 200 for the redwing and 150 for the fieldfare per hunter. A limitation which in our opinion is not justified despite the technical counterarguments presented by us.
