Unfair rule
Flavio Tosi, MEP and head of Forza Italia's hunting policies, points out "the too many appeals by anti-hunting associations against the regulations and hunting plans established by the Regions, appeals which in fact aim to counteract and eliminate hunting and which often, in some parts , are accepted by the TAR due to a formal flaw in the Italian legislation transposing and applying the Key concepts (Kc)”. The law, explains Tosi, "transposes the European directive in an unfair and too restrictive way".
The convocation of the table
Tosi therefore reported this problem to the Minister of the Environment Pichetto Fratin, requesting the revision of our Kc. The Minister responded immediately by convening a table for September with all the associations and bodies involved.
The most restrictive country
The objective of Forza Italia and the center-right is precisely to modify the Kc. “I thank Minister Pichetto for his concern – says Tosi – Italy is the most restrictive European country in terms of hunting activity. From September we will finally be able to work on the revision of the Kc, which the left-wing and Grillini ministers in the past have modified in a punitive sense for hunters".
